The purpose of Worthy & True is to unlock the inherent value of human life through love, creation of equitable employment opportunities, and provision of high-quality education, specifically for those who have been impacted by systems of oppression, so that they can live a flourishing and dignified life.
Our vision is to build high quality pre-k to 12th grade schools in Cambodia and beyond where we will share our journey, knowledge, and expertise with others around the world.
Loving: We believe in loving our neighbors as ourselves according to I Corinthians 13: 4-7.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Learning: We believe in modeling a growth mindset and unlocking people’s potential, intelligence, gifts, and talents.
Leading: We adopt and adapt the Adaptive Leadership model as we believe in practicing mobilizing people to tackle tough challenges and thrive.
Leaving a Legacy: We believe in contributing to making our local, regional, and global communities a better place to live.
